Responsible Gaming

Version: 1.0  |  Last Updated: 31 July 2025

At MonsterWin, we believe that gambling should always be an enjoyable and entertaining activity. We are fully committed to promoting a safe, responsible, and transparent gaming environment for all of our Players. This Responsible Gaming Policy ("RG Policy") forms part of our broader regulatory framework and should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

If you ever feel that gambling is no longer fun or is causing you problems, please use the tools and resources available on this page immediately.

1. Our Commitment

MonsterWin is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of player protection. Our responsible gaming programme is built around three core principles:

  • Prevention: We proactively educate Players about the risks of problem gambling and how to stay in control;
  • Protection: We provide practical tools that allow Players to set limits, take breaks, and exclude themselves from the Website;
  • Support: We signpost Players to professional support organisations when gambling behaviour becomes problematic.

Our customer support team receives ongoing training in responsible gaming awareness and is equipped to assist Players who may be experiencing difficulties. We monitor player activity for signs of potentially harmful gambling behaviour and may proactively reach out to Players where concerns are identified.

We do not offer bonuses or promotional incentives to Players who have activated self-exclusion or cooling-off periods, and we enforce strict age verification measures to prevent underage gambling.

2. Recognizing Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or experience. Being honest with yourself is the first step towards getting help. Consider the following questions — if you answer "yes" to three or more, you may be experiencing difficulties with gambling and we strongly encourage you to seek support:

  1. Do you spend more money or time gambling than you originally intended?
  2. Have you tried to reduce or stop gambling but found it difficult or impossible?
  3. Do you think about gambling constantly, even when you are doing other things?
  4. Do you gamble to escape from problems, stress, anxiety, or negative emotions?
  5. After losing money, do you feel a strong urge to gamble again quickly to try to recover your losses ("chasing losses")?
  6. Have you lied to family members, friends, or others about how much you gamble or how much money you have spent?
  7. Has gambling caused serious problems in your relationships, work, education, or financial situation?
  8. Have you borrowed money, sold possessions, or engaged in dishonest behaviour to fund gambling?
  9. Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you try to cut down or stop gambling?
  10. Have you ever considered harming yourself or others as a result of gambling-related problems?

If you answered yes to any of these questions — particularly question 10 — please reach out to a professional support organisation immediately. A list of organisations is provided in Section 6 of this Policy.

3. Player Protection Tools

MonsterWin provides a comprehensive suite of responsible gaming tools that you can activate at any time through your Account settings or by contacting our support team at [email protected].

3.1. Deposit Limits

You may set limits on the amount you deposit into your Account over a defined period:

  • Daily Deposit Limit: Maximum amount you can deposit in any 24-hour period;
  • Weekly Deposit Limit: Maximum amount you can deposit in any 7-day period;
  • Monthly Deposit Limit: Maximum amount you can deposit in any 30-day period.

Deposit limits take effect immediately upon activation. Requests to increase a deposit limit are subject to a 7-day cooling-off period before they take effect, to ensure that the decision is deliberate and considered. Decreases take effect immediately.

3.2. Loss Limits

You may set a limit on the total net losses you are prepared to accept over a given period (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once your loss limit is reached, you will be unable to place further wagers until the limit period resets. Increases to loss limits are also subject to a 7-day cooling-off period.

3.3. Session Time Limits

You may set a limit on the amount of time you spend in a single gaming session. Once your session time limit is reached, you will be logged out automatically. You can also enable session reminders that notify you of how long you have been playing at regular intervals.

3.4. Wager Limits

You may set a maximum bet amount per spin, hand, or round. This tool helps you control your pace of play and avoid exceeding your personal budget during an active session.

3.5. Cooling-Off Period

A cooling-off period is a temporary break from gambling. You may request a cooling-off period of:

  • 24 hours;
  • 7 days;
  • 30 days;
  • A custom period of your choosing (up to 6 weeks).

During a cooling-off period, your Account remains open but you will be unable to deposit funds or place wagers. All cooling-off periods take effect immediately and cannot be cancelled early.

3.6. Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a formal, longer-term measure for Players who believe they have a gambling problem. You may request self-exclusion for the following periods:

  • 6 months;
  • 1 year;
  • 3 years;
  • 5 years;
  • Permanent (indefinite).

To activate self-exclusion, contact us at [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request". Self-exclusion takes effect within 24 hours of your request being confirmed. During the self-exclusion period:

  • Your Account will be suspended;
  • You will not receive any marketing communications or bonus offers;
  • Any Real Money Balance will be refunded to your registered payment method;
  • You will not be able to reactivate your Account until the self-exclusion period has expired.

At the end of a temporary self-exclusion period (excluding permanent), a minimum 7-day reflection period applies before the Account can be reopened, and you will be required to contact support to confirm your request to return.

3.7. Reality Checks

You may activate a Reality Check feature that displays a notification on screen at your chosen intervals (e.g., every 30 minutes, every 60 minutes) showing how long you have been playing and your net wins/losses for the session. This helps you stay aware of your gameplay and make informed decisions about whether to continue.

4. Tips for Responsible Gambling

The following practical guidelines can help you enjoy gambling as a safe and fun leisure activity:

  • Set a budget — decide how much you can afford to spend before you start playing, and stick to it;
  • Treat gambling as entertainment — think of the money you wager as the cost of entertainment, not as an investment or income source;
  • Never chase losses — accept losses as part of the game and do not increase your bets in an attempt to recover them;
  • Take regular breaks — set time limits for your sessions and step away from the screen regularly;
  • Don't gamble under the influence — avoid gambling when you are intoxicated, stressed, depressed, or emotionally upset;
  • Balance gambling with other activities — ensure gambling does not replace other hobbies, social activities, or responsibilities;
  • Understand the games — learn the rules, odds, and RTP of the games you play before wagering real money;
  • Keep gambling private — do not let gambling interfere with your personal relationships or professional life;
  • Use the tools available — proactively set deposit, loss, and session limits to stay within your personal boundaries;
  • Seek help early — if you recognise any warning signs, seek support before the problem escalates.

5. Protection of Minors

MonsterWin operates a strict minimum age of 21 years for all Players. We take robust measures to prevent access by minors, including:

  • Mandatory declaration of age at registration;
  • Verification of date of birth during KYC;
  • Ongoing monitoring and age verification checks.

If you share your device with other household members, including children or young adults under 21, we strongly recommend the use of parental control software to prevent unauthorised access to gambling websites. Reputable parental control tools include:

  • NetNanny (www.netnanny.com)
  • Qustodio (www.qustodio.com)
  • Bark (www.bark.us)

If you suspect that a person under the age of 21 has accessed the Website or created an Account, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate and take appropriate action without delay, including closing the Account and refunding any deposits.
